An interest in mark making and narrative resulted in a number of works of which, that at 2B Butlers Wharf was one. Others took place at venues including the Robert Self Gallery in Newcastle during One Artist One Day, at Sunderland Arts Centre during the Performance Week, while others were carried out on some derelict streets in Gateshead, the beach at Alnmouth, the studios at Newcastle upon Tyne Polytechnic, and Ayton Basement (subsequently renamed Basement Group) an artists run venue on the quayside in Newcastle.
