David Critchley was one of the most dynamic video artists/performers/organisers of the mid 70s, and a key player in the development of video art in Britain. As one of the early organisers of London Video Arts (LVA, later London Video Access; now part of LUX), he helped shape the emergent artform. In this exhibition, he gives a personal account of events at the artists' space at 2B Butlers Wharf, a key venue for early UK video and performance art during its two and a half years of existence. Now working in a wide variety of media, he supports his practice as a visual artist by teaching.
