of funded works, the ICA's former Videotheque collection, exhibition compilations
from the Film & Video Umbrella, the former London Electronic Arts
and other organisations, and many tapes donated by individual artists.
Documentation includes more than 600 files of published and unpublished

the institutional history of British artists' film and video, including
material on the London Filmmakers Co-op, the LUX, the IFA, the Arts Council,
the BFI and various festivals and other events. These include, for example,
a very extensive collection of the London Filmmakers' Co-op's cinema programme

and catalogues, and documents relating to the NFT Avant-Garde Festivals
of 1970, 1973 and 1979.
The Image Library contains many images relating to artists' film
and video including production stills through documentation of installations,
slides, fragments of film strips and other materials.
